11 Things To Do In 2019

With the beginning of the new year, it is a time of reflection and for putting plans into actions. Here are some things that we have on our list for 2019:

  1. Learn about the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs in our town
  2. Set up a visit at a local farm
  3. Start planting our seeds indoors and then transplant them in the Spring
  4. Ask a relative for an heirloom recipe, passed down from the generations
  5. Become a Meatless Monday Ambassador
  6. Enjoy a meal at a farm-to-table restaurant that has a seasonal menu
  7. Volunteer for a day for a school garden
  8. Create a pot of herbs for everyday use in our kitchen
  9. Limit my our of plastic bags; experiment with various types of reusable bags
  10. Combine trips when running errands
  11. Get our bicycles ready for our first trip to the Farmers' market this Spring
